Rock Im Park 2014 - Informations

Hallo there,

this will be my first time at Rock Im Park and as I don't speak german,
I find it quite difficult to translate infos from the official website,
so I would like to ask some questions to all the veteran ones.

- what time does the park/campsite open on Thursday 5 June? do you think it's still a good time to come at around 3p.m. on Thursday? and what time should people leave on Tuesday 10?

- are there places under the shadow in the camping or the situation is like in other festivals where you pitch the tent in a big field with no shadow? (I know it could rain also ;))

- are there busses that connect the venue to the city centre during the festival?

- how much are beers and food inside the festival area?

I think it's all by now..

Hi there :)

- Nobody really knows when the campsite will open. At the moment it seems, that it will not open until Friday 8 AM.
Because of that a lot of people are pissed now, so we will see how the organizer will react.
The leaving time on Tuesday is normally 10 AM, but usually it's not that strict.

- As it is called Rock im >park<, there are of course some trees that provide some shadow, but these places are very limited.

- The festival area is located in the middle of Nuremberg, so public transportation is not a problem

- beer: about 4€
food: about 3,50€ to 6€
